Video calls and experience rooms are often specified without a lighting drawing. The result is a face in shadow, a screen competing with a window, or a gallery that cannot change mood.
Lighting scenes should be programmed with the room control: present, discuss, call, show. Colour should flatter a face and stay out of the camera’s way. In an experience centre, light is content — it has to be commissioned with the image and the audio, not gelled on opening day.
None of this needs a theatrical rig in a boardroom. It needs intention, and a scene the host can call by name.
